Finally, a light at the end of the Tunnel...

Well ladies, I have some great news...coming soon in summer of 2015...

Chanel R Eggleston, RN

I just found out that I have been accepted into the nursing program I was wait listed in! I will begin in Jan 2013! Tears come to my eyes knowing that this life long dream is finally coming true. You all were there with me in the beginning when I made this decision. You have been some of the biggest supporters and words can not express to you how much that means to me! I love you all and thank you so much!!

PS: I am not making this public knowledge on Facebook or anything for a little while. I have a lot to figure out (moving, where to work, etc), so I want to have some of that taken care of first before I make it public.

  1. Chanel!!!!! I am so happy for you! Tears came to my eyes as I read your post...and I can assure you they are freely flowing as I type this message. Man we cry a lot! :) I am so glad you didn't throw in the towel. Who knew just over two months ago as we all talked in that outdoor mall area in SLC that this was just around the corner.

My lips are sealed, but I will definitely be thanking Heavenly Father for this one. So so happy for you!

Please keep us posted on the plans! I think you should try to work out a rotation in Alabama. :)

    Loves to all!!!

  4. this is no surprise to any of us Chanel! we knew you'd get in, it's just exciting to see it happen and see that you believe it too. you have a gift with loving and caring for people--one that will be used well and often in the nursing field.

  5. Thank you so much for your support!! You are all so wonderful! Tonya, I would LOVE to be your nurse! But only if it were for something happy like having a baby! I think that is one of the few happy things that happen in a hospital. I don't want a sick T on my hands (considering that is what most of my patients are is sick people!)Finally getting into this program I have definitely seen the hand of God. But more importantly, I have felt his love reminding me that he is aware and has it all planned out. I just have to wait for it to unravel. This was just what I needed to remind me how great God really is.
